This module provides an overview of Kansas Supreme Court Rule 110A, which establishes the standards governing the appointment, qualifications, and conduct of guardians ad litem in child in need of care proceedings. Participants will examine the rule’s key requirements — including education prerequisites, ongoing training obligations, and professional conduct standards — and explore how those requirements apply in practice. Upon completion, participants will earn one hour of prerecorded continuing legal education credit.
